    CodeBehind 4.8 Released

    category news

Version 4.8 of the CodeBehind framework has been released.
At Elanat, we adopted a standard approach to WebForms Core development for this release.
This version updates to WebForms Core 2.2, introducing new features such as Render, Snapshot, and Rollback for structural rendering. These features ensure that repeated renders begin from a stable and predictable state, eliminating the need for a virtual DOM. Additionally, starting with this version, a minified version of WebFormsJS is included in the CodeBehind framework and added to the default template.

The `Control` method and its associated options have been completely removed. The options structure has been redesigned to ensure more reliable behavior. To send WebForms commands alongside HTML, use `Write(form.ExportToHtmlComment())` instead of `Control`; for secondary commands without HTML, use `Write(form.Response())` combined with `IgnoreAll()`.
The `Control` method was removed to improve performance and standardize the `WebForms` class across different programming languages.
